Termites cause damage to all kind of woodwork, furniture, furnishings, clothing, stationary, rubber, plastic and even the lead coating of underground cables.
Chemical Measures:
Soil termiticide injection used for subterranean termites is the most common and effective treatment we use. Drilling of the foundation wall /slabs is done to stop & prevent the movement of termites from the ground. Holes are drilled along the junction of the floor and the wall at approx. 18 inches interval. The insecticide is then poured into these holes to soak the masonry. The woodwork in contact with the masonry in premises is particularly susceptible to termite infestation such as doors, window frames, wall panels, wardrobes, shelves, wooden cupboard, etc. Holes of diameter 12mm (1/2 inch approx.) are drilled towards the core of woodwork at a distance of 50mm (20 inch). Insecticide is then poured into these holes and they are covered with cement.
The following methods are used for controlling cockroaches.
Smart Gel Treatment:
This unique gel is applied in the cockroach-infested areas and an odourless spray is also done to get rid of ants & spiders. This treatment takes 4 to 5 days to show results. There is no need to vacate any thing and this treatment is odourless. It takes approximately 45 minutes to do the gel treatment for a 2 BHK flat. This treatment is also carried out in companies, industrial canteens, restaurants etc. This treatment is only for cockroaches, red ants & spiders.
The following methods are used for controlling rodents.
Mechanical Control:
We use various traps viz. mechanical traps, snap trap and glue traps for control of rats and mice. Trapping is an effective way to reduce rodent populations in certain situations.
Chemical Control:
It includes application of poison bait for controlling rodents.
- Acute rodenticides : Single dose poison i.e. zinc phosphide when ingested by rats reacts with acid medium present in gastrointestinal tract releasing phosphine gas which spreads throughout the body through the blood stream resulting in haemolysis and blocking of the kidney.
- Anticoagulant : Bromodiolone is potent to prove fatal for rodents in a single feeding. Rodents do not develop shyness to these poisons since very low concentration of poison is required in the bait. Bait with 1-3 day's exposure is sufficient to kill various species of rodents in maximum of 14 days. This method is the most effective way of controlling rats.
The following methods are used for controlling wood borers.
Management of Wood Borer:
Woodborers are tiny beetles, which live in wood. You probably know them as 'ghun'. They make holes in the wood and powder keeps falling from these holes. They are not termites or white ants. If not treated immediately they multiply very fast and damage the wood. They slowly erode your furniture away leaving little moulds of sawdust or powder. To treat this we inject a specially formulated chemical along with a fumigant in these holes, which kills the insects. The woodborers treatment is done initially for every month for the 1st three months. Afterwards if you have any problem you can call us any number of times during the contract period.
The following methods are used for controlling ants.
Management of Ants:
We locate the ant infestation in the cracks and crevices of walls and floorings and with the help of syringe inject the insecticide to control ants. We also spray all the surface areas where ants infestation is seen.
The following methods are used for controlling bed bugs.
Management of Bed Bugs:
For effective control of bed bugs we use specialized chemicals to treat beds and clothes. In case of wooden bed, oil based chemical spray and for clothes, water based chemical spray is used. In some cases where the infestation is more, the treatment has to be repeated within 15 days.
The following methods are used for controlling flies.
Management of House Fly:
For control of houseflies we use integrated approach for prevention of breeding. We suggest quick and proper disposal of manure, garbage night soil etc. Keeping every premise clean and without accumulation of materials on which the flies breed.
Chemical Treatment of Breeding Ground:
Application of chemical dust to destroy eggs and maggots (larva) of houseflies.
Destruction of Adults:
Residual spraying of insecticides to kill exposed adults.
The following methods are used for controlling mosquitoes.
Management of Mosquito :
We control mosquitoes in following ways:
- Destruction of breeding grounds : The only permanent method of control of most mosquitoes is to eliminate the breeding grounds entirely whenever possible. Drainages of swampy areas and stagnant water are major breeding ground for mosquitoes.
- Destruction of larvae : We control mosquito larvae by treating with mosquito larvicidal chemicals.
- Destruction of Adult mosquito : Destruction of adult mosquitoes by insecticide spray.
- Fogging treatment : We carry out fogging treatment in evening hours to control of adult mosquitoes.
